Little League Baseball and Softball is an organization designed to build good
citizens. It is a program of leadership, preparing today’s youth to be
tomorrow’s leaders. The Haddam Little League relies on a devoted legion of adult
and youth volunteers to help ensure that the organization remains structured and
runs smoothly. We welcome responsible and enthusiastic individuals to help
support league activities.
The best volunteers are those who are able to bring added enjoyment to the game
simply be being themselves. What you see during Little League games is a mere
fraction of what you can do as a volunteer. You can volunteer to help in
virtually any aspect of Little League Baseball or Softball. From operating the
snack stand to field maintenance to coaching, we are always looking for
volunteers.
Anyone can apply to become a volunteer. Whatever talents or skills you have, we
can use them! Volunteers are parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles,
retirees, former Little Leaguers, friends, neighbors, students and more.
Volunteering can be used toward Community Service credit needed for all Region
17 High School students.
All volunteers must complete a volunteer information form. These forms are
available during player registration as well as online. |
